John earned his Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University and subsequently passed the Bar Exam.
He opened his first practice in Hickory, NC.
- 1998, Moved practice -
After a year in Hickory, he moved the practice to Graham, NC where it resides today.
- 2003, Marriage -
After moving to Alamance County, John met and married his wife Shannon and now have three children. As a family, they're active in Alamance County sports, including coaching and competing in soccer, basketball and swimming.

Who I Am
Impassioned to uphold the law and defend the rights of others, I graduated from law school in 1997 and passed the BAR exam that same year. The following year, I moved my practice to Graham, North Carolina and now call Alamance County home.
Since then, my service on numerous boards, committees and charitable organizations has been rewarding. The joy of my life has been my marriage to Shannon and our three children. I'm privileged to coach them and other children on community soccer and basketball teams. My passion is for this community and to help those in it.
